A cheese created by the Wisconsin Sheep Dairy Cooperative. The sheeps milk is taken to Cedar Grove Cheese in Plain, Wisconsin, where it is gently pasteurized, formed into curds with the addition of culture and rennet and pressed into molds to make Dante. This careful process results in a nutty, rich, firm cheese that truly expresses the unique flavor of Wisconsin’s quality sheep milk.Try with most new world Chardonnays (stainless steel to light oak), medium bodied reds, and Rhone reds (Syrah and Grenache based).
