Description: Malbec is the “It Wine” of the moment. Everywhere you turn, people are pouring a glass of Malbec. This class is designed to look at Malbec in a closer way. We will taste Malbecs from around the world in all price ranges as we explore if Malbec has staying power for the years to come. Learn about where Tannins hit your tongue or learn why you smell what you smell in this class. We will sample wines from around the world while learning and exploring why we taste what we do and how to be a better wine taster.

We set up each class with numerous comparative tastings that flesh out what is meant by body, tannin, sweetness or dryness, fruity or earthy, and so much more. Armed with this knowledge, you will learn how to find great values from the world over. And of course, we will review the principles of food & wine pairing, discuss wine terminology, and provide insight into restaurant wine lists. We will accompany the wines with a number of perfectly aged cheeses from around the world.

Description: After teaching many wine classes, one of the most enjoyable aspects of each class is where the attendees ask those questions thats been bugging them for awhile. This class is designed to be about you and be an open forum to get the answers to your questions, while drinking some fantastic wines! We will accompany the wines with a number of perfectly aged cheeses from around the world.
