"Dal Forno Romano is the gold standard of wineries of the Veneto, and of producers of Valpolicella and Amarone. The Valpolicella is a blend of Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella grapes which are dried for approximately one and a half months before being pressed. The result is a wine of beautiful silkiness and texture, soft fruit tannins, tremendous caressing presence on the palate and a long, harmonious finish. It is drinking beautifully now and is ideal to serve with strongly flavored cheeses like Taleggio or with grilled red meats."
