Name: Forlorn Hope King Andrews 2014
Country: United States
Sub-Region: Napa Valley
Producer: Forlorn Hope
Varietal: White Blend
The King-Andrews white wine field blend project began in 2010, in partnership with longtime grower and friend Roger King in his Suisun Valley vineyard as a revival of California's pre-Prohibition viticultural heritage. Propagation material was selected from old-vine plantings in Amador County and Napa Valley, and in 2014 the new vines yielded this first vintage. Co-fermented and aged in a neutral 500 liter puncheon, this bottling is a bridge connecting California's viticultural past and future.
