"This is a suave and supple wine, with a luxuriously smooth texture. From one of Anderson Valley's fabled vineyard sites, this offers softness and easy drinkability, balanced by a firm backing of fruit tones, acidity and fine tannins."

"Combines richness and structure with a tight beam of ripe, plump, juicy dark berry, with echoes of blackberry and blueberry. The flavors sail along gracefully on the finish. Drink now through 2021. 375 cases made."

"The 2013 Pinot Noir Ferrington Vineyard, which is from a site in Anderson Valley, is made from Dijon clones 667, 777, 115 and the Pommard selection. This is loamy soil country, and this seductive Pinot shows plenty of blueberry, sweet cherry and floral notes, coming across like a mid-weight Volnay from Burgundy. Pure, ripe and dark ruby, ths is a beauty, but limited in production (375 cases). Drink it over the next 7-8 years."
