Oregon - Willamette Valley
From the WineMakers:
"Our take on how Oregon Pinot Noir should be edgy, refreshing, with earthly aromatics of berries, brambles and forest floor. 667,777 and Wädenswil clone of Pinot Noir from the Momtazi and Sojourner vineyards fermented 80% whole cluster. then aged in older french oak barrels and puncheons for 16 months. At one time it was though cotton came from sheep like plants...another time that Oregon was too cool to ripen grapes, then that heavy toasted oak, high alc. and maximum ripeness are the hallmarks of great pinot- we seek to prove this as incorrect as sheep plants."
