Maysara Autees Pinot Blanc
Wine Advocate Review: 88 points
"The 2015 Pinot Blanc Autees, 25% fruit from the oldest vines planted in 1998 and the rest in 2009, offers a lively bouquet with citrus fruit, lime and pink grapefruit. I like the energy here. The palate is fresh on the entry with crisp acidity, good varietal expression here with just a touch of spiciness on the finish to urge you back for another sip. This is a very decent, well made Pinot Blanc."
From the Winery:
"A slightly richer style of the Pinot Blanc grape, tending towards ripe fruit notes of apricot and even lychee. The floral scents in the nose are honeysuckle alight on a cool breeze. The upright acidity beckon you back again, with ample minerality on the dry, clean finish. Stellar with the firmer cheeses, fresh, ripe fruit and subtly herbed seafood."
