Bernard Baudry Chinon Les Granges
From the Winery:
"Les Granges is a fruity, agreeable wine that should be drunk young. It is an example of easy-going and round Chinon from sandy gravelly soil.
Soil: Mixed gravels and sands on recent alluvial terraces.
Vines: Planted between 1985 and 1988.
Vinification/Aging: Manual harvest. Two-week fermentation in cement vats, then seven to ten months aging in cement vats. Bottling the following spring or autown."
