A Donkey and Goat Five Thirteen
Gamey notes dance with crushed free berries, herbs, cola, leather and floral hints. The palate shows off the wine’s stuffing with chewy tannins, respectable acidity and lingering flavors of cranberry and cassis.
Wine Enthusiast Review by Virginie Boone
Delicious in fruity perfume, this is a blend of 45% Grenache, 20% Syrah, 19% Mourvèdre, 10% Counoise and 6% Cinsault. Heady in rosewater, violet and wild strawberry, the wine is finely textured and meaty in body with a lengthy, herbal finish. It makes a delectable pairing with almost any meal.

Deep red. Displays scents of smoky red and dark berries, cola, potpourri and game, with a spicy topnote contributing vibrancy and lift. Juicy and precise on the palate, offering gently sweet black raspberry and anise flavors, along with a hint of bitter chocolate. Finishes energetic and long, with sneaky tannins adding grip.
