Name: Drew Cellars Morning Dew Pinot Noir
Country: United States
Sub-Region: Anderson Valley
Producer: Drew Cellars
Varietal: Pinot Noir
This is our third release from this esteemed site, located in the “Deep End” of Anderson Valley at approximately 800 feet elevation, on a steep south and east facing hillsides. It has all the attributes that we look for: hillside drainage, higher elevation, coastal fog influence, great care given to the vineyard and excellent clonal selection. We are thrilled to work with this vineyard owned by the eponymous Burt Williams.
Vinous Review: 92 points
Vivid red. Mineral-accented aromas of wild red berries, blood orange and rhubarb, with a sexy floral quality building in the glass. Shows very good clarity and energy on the palate, offering juicy strawberry and raspberry flavors that put on weight with air. This powerful yet lithe pinot finishes with strong thrust and smooth, silky, slowly emerging tannins.
