"Crushed flowers, mint and red-toned fruit emerge from 2012 Grenache. Varietal aromatics and dense, powerful fruit come together in the glass. Even with the inclusion of 100% whole clusters, the 2012 is quite textured and resonant on the palate. There is no shortage of complexity here."

"Leading off the reds, the 2012 Grenache Ballard Canyon gives up plenty of kirsch, dried herbs and ground pepper in a medium-bodied, supple and lightly textured package. Seeing lots of stem inclusion and aging all in neutral oak, it’s borderline outstanding and will drink nicely for 4-5 years. This was a fantastic lineup by the team at Stolpman, and the wines are all made by Sashi Moorman."
