Name: Penfolds Grange Bin 95
From our Wine Director:
"I have been lucky enough to taste a couple of dozen vintages of Penfold's Grange over the years, including the original vintage, the legendary 1951, which was absolutely glorious when I tasted it about 20 years ago. I believe Grange is a unique wine in that, in my experience, there are no disappointing vintages - which is not the case with first growth Bordeaux, Grand Cru Burgundies or any other wines.
The 2009 Grange is beginning to mature, and has a long life ahead. If you could glaze a porterhouse steak with balsamic vinegar and baking spices and bottle it, the result would be the 2009 Grange. Drink now to 2030+."
