Join us Thursday, July 16th at 6:30pm for a Zoom tasting of three very affordable wines that are perfect for the summer months. We'll be joined by my long-time friend, importer Fran Kysela. Fran was the 18th person in the world to pass the Master Sommelier exam and was the 2013 Wine Enthusiast Magazine Importer Of The Year. You don't want to miss what he has to say!
Thursday's tasting will include:
Wolfberger Cremant d'Alsace Brut Rose NV, $24.99
Vividly fresh notes of red currant dominate the nose. These also play on the palate where they are accentuated by finely fizzing mousse and ample freshness. The body is light, dry, and beautifully tangy—ideal as a mouthwatering apéritif.

2019 Hugl Gruner Veltliner, $12.99 per one liter bottle
This is an intense and concentrated wine offering pleasant citrus and grapefruit aromas, exotic tropical fruits with a hint of freshly ground white pepper. Medium-bodied dry wine with a firm mineral backbone, crisp acidity on the finish. A very pleasing wine to drink.

2017 Montebuena Rioja, $11.99
Montebuena displays a brilliant deep ruby red color. Aromas of juicy fruit combine with a spicy vanilla bouquet. Smooth and fruity in the mouth with some well-integrated secondary nuances. Full-flavored with a persistent, pleasant finish.
