Join us on Thursday, November 19th at 6:30 for a tasting of red wines from the Southern Rhone Valley with Evan Goldstein, MS. Evan was the director of The Sterling School of Service and Hospitality for a long time and also the president of The Court of Master Sommeliers America for about a decade. We have been friends for a long time and I consider him the top wine educator in the world. He is extremely informative and entertaining and this will be a tasting to remember with very special wines.

Thursdays' tasting will include, in this order
2017 Famille Perrin Vinsobres "les Cornuds", $17.99
Cola and red fruits mingle on the nose and medium to full-bodied palate, picking up hints of dried spices and leather. It's robust and a bit rustic in a good, wholesome way.
Purchase the Vinsobres here:
2017 Clos du Mont-Olivet Lirac, $21.99
Red currant and plum puree notes glide through, lined with subtle anise and tea accents. A light applewood frame holds the finish. Drink now through 2021.
Purchase the Lirac here:
2016 Chateau l'Ermitage Costieres de Nimes "Epicuria", $29.99
A Mourvèdre-based wine, matured in large-format oak. There are mere hints of toast and vanilla in this medium to full-bodied wine that's crammed with mixed berries but the wood helps to deliver a supple, creamy mid-palate and a long, spicy finish.
