Chateau de Saint Cosme is the hottest winery in the southern Rhone valley. Their Chateau de Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone 2017 wine is absolutely extraordinary and a great value. It's 100% syrah, which is very unusual and makes it taste more like a northern Rhone wine. However, the northern Rhone wines usually sell for about $50 more than this bottle, making this possibly the best under $20 wine you've ever tasted!
