We really love the wines of Bodegas Muga here at Sunfish Cellars. The 2011 Prado Enea which we carried until it sold out about a year ago was a very special wine at a very reasonable price.
But this is an even better bang for the buck. The 2020 Bodegas Muga Rosé is a steal at only $13.99! It shows red berry, blood orange, fresh flowers, and a spicy flourish on the expressive, mineral-driven nose. Lithe and penetrating on the palate, offering intense red berry and citrus pith flavors that slowly deepen as the wine opens up. Shows excellent clarity and lively cut on the very long, floral-tinged finish which leaves a juicy red berry note behind.
Antonio Galloni of Vinous Media agrees with us, rating it 92 points, and he says it sells for $18!
