This comes from ancient, ungrafted vines planted around the family house and winery. It always has an extra degree of complexity and depth, often revealed in a subtle rather than in-your-face way. There are shy aromas of citrus fruit and flowers, with a saline and mineral touch that is later found in a stronger way on the palate. This is super tasty, powerful and round but still lively. The acidity feels more integrated than the 2017, which feels a little wilder. This is a great Albariño they compare with 2011, as they feel the two years were similar, even if today the wines do not show the same.
