Perhaps the world's finest under $50 Pinot Noir

If you have purchased any of the 2019 Chacra Pinot Noir Barda from us, you know that it is a very, very special wine. Of course, it is not surprising, given that it is made by the winemaking team at Sassicaia!

Well, what would you say if I told you that the 2018 Chacra Pinot Noir Lunita was even more special at only $37.99?

And what would you say if I told you that, according to a website which monitors online wine pricing worldwide, there is only one other wine retailer in the world offering it (in Barcelona, at $42.58)?

Well, both things are true.

More importantly, it is an absolutely extraordinary bottle of wine–reminiscent of a Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru from a top Burgundy winery, but with New World exuberance of red fruits. I truly do not believe you will find a better Pinot Noir at this price anywhere.

James Suckling agrees with us, saying: "A beautifully plush and fresh pinot that has much in the way of dark cherries and plums that ride on a silky, elegantly defined bed of fine tannins. This has superior elegance, depth and drive. Drink or hold. 96 points."

Or how about this mixed case, 4 bottles each, of superb Patagonian Pinot Noir:

  • 2019 Chacra Pinot Noir Barda, 93JS
  • 2018 Zorzal Pinot Noir Terroir Unico, 92WA
  • 2018 Chacra Pinot Noir Lunita, 96JS

Only $288.69 for the 12 bottles!
